Unlock Creativity with EQ8’s Dynamic Duos Add-On

I am so excited to share all the details on my new Block Library Add-on for EQ8: Dynamic Duos! I have been working on this block library for quite a while and have had to save the secret until now.  This Block library has 60 beautiful quilt blocks all designed to use the AccuQuilt GO! Qube but the twist is you need to use TWO Qubes together!  This new block library is available September 15th, 2026!

If you are not familiar with my EQ8 Block libraries for AccuQuilt GO Qubes, let me give you some background.  Most of you know that I love EQ8 Quilt design software.  I use it to design my patterns, I use it to make my own quilts and I am also an EQ8 teacher.  But like most of you, I have a lot of sewing interests, so I also like using my GO! AccuQuilt cutter to speed up the assembly process.

Secret Quilt Block

I created a line of block libraries that use the shapes found in the AccuQuilt GO! Qubes.  So you can design your quilt in EQ8, drop in one or more of my Quilt blocks and then cut it all out with your GO! Qubes and Cutters.  The perfect mix of creativity and precision!

The blocks included in the Dynamic Duos EQ add-on use die shapes from TWO AccuQuilt GO! Mix & Match Qube sizes – a small Qube and a large Qube, where the small Qube is half the size of the large Qube. This small and large Qube combination is called a Duo!

  • 8″ Qube + 4″ Qube = 8″ GO! Qube Duo
  • 10″ Qube + 5″ Qube = 10″ GO! Qube Duo
  • 12″ Qube + 6″ Qube = 12″ GO! Qube Duo
  • 16″ Qube + 8″ Qube = 16″ GO! Qube Duo

The DUO you choose AND the blocks GRID will determine your finished block size. The larger the DUO, the larger the block! Here is a chart of the Grids and Duos with what size finished blocks they make.

This Paducah Peony Block is an example of one of the blocks in the library.  There is a complete reference guide for each block which shows you the different GO! Qube Shape numbers that are needed for each block. The smaller Qube of the Duo is highlighted in blue so it is easy to pull the dies you need to cut them out.

The library also comes with a Project file containing 40 quilts.  There are 10 designs colored in 4 different ways to give you inspiration to start designing and creating stunning quilts right away.
